What Type Of Camper Do You Have For Hire?

We have a 2018 Renault Trafic Sport van with a Sca hydaraulic roof and a Rib seat which folds down into a comfy bed.


What Are The Age Requirements

We hire our vans to anyone ages 23-75 with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and with no more than 6 points and/or one insurance claim.

Based in Stornoway, close to both the airport and the ferry terminal we will meet you, show you all you need to know about the camper van and how everything works to help you on your way.

What Are The Collection Times?

Collection and drop off are by appointment only within the times slots below. We will be in touch after you book to arrange a time to suit you. Just let us know if you are running late and we will make sure someone is there to hand our lovely boy over to you.

Split Week Hire

Monday (collect after 3pm) – Friday (drop off before 12 noon)


Friday (collect after 3pm) – Monday (drop off before 12 noon)

Full Week Hire

Friday (collect after 3pm) – Friday (drop off before 12 noon)


Monday (collect after 3pm) – Monday (drop off before 12 noon)


How Do I Make A Booking?

There are 3 ways to make a booking.

Do I Need A Security Deposit?

We require a security deposit of £600 which is payable by bank transfer, cheque or paypal and must be received 10 days prior hire unless the booking is last minute. In this instance the full balance, including security deposit, will be payable immediately to secure the booking.


Cancellation Policy

Please let us know as soon as you can if you need to cancel. A late cancellation fee of 50% will apply to all bookings cancelled within 10 weeks.

Late cancellation (less that 10 days before hire) results in total loss of hire cost.

This does not include you security deposit which will be returned to you in full.



What Do I Need To Bring With Me On The Day?

  1. Your driving licence
  2. 2 x recent proof of address (must be utility bills / bank statements within the last 3 months)
  3. Towels

Everything else, including bedding and kitchen equipment will be provided.


Can We Add Another Driver?

Yes we can add a second driver for an additional £10. They must provide all the paperwork that the main driver has provided and we must be told in advance so the correct checks can be done on the licences.


Is The Insurance Included?

Yes, the insurance is included in the price.


Can I Still Hire The Van If I Have Points On My Licence?

You can. Our insurer will cover anyone with up to 6 points on their licence. Please enquire if you have more and we will see what our insurer can do.



What Happens If We Break Down?

Our van is serviced regularly and looked after very well so this shouldn’t happen. However, if it does we have 24 hour roadside breakdown cover to get you on your way as soon as possible. You will be provided with the details of the cover at the handover.


Can We Leave Our Car With You?

You can. We have free public parking on the island that you can leave your car at your own risk.


Can We Travel Abroad?

Our insurance policy will cover European travel. Just let us know in advance and we can arrange it. There is a weekly insurance fee of £50 to cover EU travel.


Can We Bring Our Pet?

We will allow one small well behaved pet. We charge £20 for extra cleaning fees for this. Please let us know in advance.



What Fuel Do We Put In The Van?

Our van runs on diesel.
